100 Connell Drive was Connell Real Estate & Development Co.’s first development project.  Connell acquired the 44.5-acre site in 1981 and completed 100 Connell Drive in 1984.  At the time, at 428,000 square feet, 100 Connell was the largest speculative building ever built in New Jersey.  When completed, AT&T leased the entire building for 17 years.  After AT&T vacated the building, CRE&D completed a $7 million renovation of the building and shortly thereafter completely leased the building to AIG and EMC. 

100 Connell Drive is a four story, corporate headquarters quality building with East and West wings, divided by a large 4 story grand center atrium.  The atrium features granite floors, a decorative fountain, 4 glass passenger elevators and an ornamental granite spiral staircase.  In addition, just off the atrium is a recently refurbished full service 250-seat dining room. 

A unique feature of this magnificent building is the size of its floor plates.  Each Wing floor plate consists of approximately 55,000 square feet, which can be rented together with the other Wing to have a single floor plate of approximately 110,000 square feet.  Additional amenities for this building include the on-site helistop and outdoor café seating.
